    Summary

    ZLAN5443A is new generation of 4 ports serial device server developed by Shanghai ZLAN. Compared with ZLAN5400A, ZLAN5443A is more cost-effective as it use the third generation hardware technology, and ZLAN5443A support Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU Gateway function. Modbus Gateway support multi Modbus clients connecting and read data at the same time, as “multi-host” function.

    ZLAN5443A support 4 RS232 serial ports, 4 RS422/485 ports, realize 4 ports simultaneous full-duplex working by connecting to ZLAN5443A via a cable. It’s the ideal choice of multi-serial ports networking.

    ZLAN5443A support extending to 8/12/16 ports through cascade Ethernet port, up to 32 serial ports.

    Hardware characteristics
    • 1) All four serial ports support RS232, RS485 and RS422 serial ports.
    • 2) The four serial ports can work independently in full duplex without interference, and can be configured with different baud rates.
    • 3) Support network switch function of 2 network ports, can be used as switch at the same time.

    • 2) Baud rate support 1200 ~ 460800bps, data bit support 5 ~ 9 bit, check bit can be no check, odd check, even check, mark, space five ways, support CTS/RTS hardware flow control and XON/XOFF soft-flow control.
    • 3) Support device connection to send MAC address function, convenient cloud management device.
    • 4) Provide computer terminal search, configuration equipment secondary development kit DLL development library.
    • 5) Support DHCP dynamic access to IP, DNS protocol connection domain name server address.
    • 6) Support cloud remote search device, configuration device parameters.
    • 7) Support remote view of device TCP connection status via software. Virtual serial port support data monitoring function.
    • 8) Support Modbus gateway function, support Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP.
    • 9) Support multi-host function: in the question and answer query mode, support network port allows more than one computer access to the same serial port device.
